Getting Through a Long Commute

If you have to endure a long commute in heavy traffic when you go to and from work you know how stressful it can be. Long commutes have been linked to poor sleep, unhealthy weight, and even a shorter lifespan. But, you can make your drive more relaxing with these helpful tips:
- Using the restroom before you leave is a good way to let of the sense of urgency that makes you want to rush. If you feel stranded without a bathroom you're more inclined to speed.
- Create a playlist of your favorite songs or music that is calming. If you're listening to the radio you probably hate listening to commercials. To avoid that make a jammin' playlist.
- Be kind to your fellow commuters and share the road. Let people over and don't think a certain lane belongs to you.
